					I highly recommend Luke from Southside Stump Grinding. (First seven photos are before, last six photos are after). Where I had to chase up quotes from some other businesses, Luke was prompt with his quote and it was highly competitive. He was very clear in what the quote included, and what were the trickier parts of the job. He was considerate of our tenants when doing the job, cleaning up after himself and returning the yard to how it was, even replacing all the sandstone rocks that bordered the garden to their original position. There was no dirt splatter all over the fences etc. as he used protective sheets of ply throughout the job. I was very happy with Southside Stump Grinding.

					Luke did a great job cutting through a stump and large roots to let me install a stormwater pipe at our place in Koonawarra. His hand held machine got through the tight access and was able to cut down to the 600mm depth of the trench. Luke dug out the chip to make sure he’d got everything down to the right depth before he left. He let me know when he’d arrive for both the quote and the job and was here when he said he would be. An excellent job and a great bloke. Highly recommended.

Needed 6 big Yukka stumps removed in East Corrimal and I was not looking forward to the back breaking work. Luke was available quickly and without any fuss made them disappear. Last week Luke attended my mums property to remove 4 tree stumps that were considered a pool compliance issues. 2 of the 4 stumps were in a tricky spot in a pool retaining wall. This was no problem for Luke and he successfully got them out. Luke also helped us set up a tarp over the pool to protect it and then he went above and beyond getting the area cleaned up.

I contacted Southside Stump Grinding via their web page for a quote. Luke contacted me back within one hour and came to the job site that afternoon and gave me a quote. The job was at a block of units where we were told by another company that due to the tight access the stumps could not be ground down. Luke has the equipment to access tight spots and did a fantastic job. he communicated with me throughout the entire process. Great job done, left the site neat and tidy and a very reasonable price. I called Luke to get a quote on a tree that was in a precarious position due to the recent floods and grind a tree stump. Unfortunately the tree was a bit too big but he was able to suggest another company to do the job and organise a quick quote. He was able to grind the stump down for us. He was very easy going and most importantly reliable, turned up on time and carried out the work to our expectations. We're in South Cronulla. We had long line of feral bamboo that ran along the side of the boundary fence in the back yard for 15 metres. The bamboo was sitting on top of a concrete footing right up against the fence. Luke was able to stump grind nearly all of the bamboo right to the concrete and into some tight spaces. Luke was on time, he explained every step of the process and left minimal mess. The price was super competitive to other quotes we received. Luke was a pro.

We live in the northern Illawarra and our beloved jacaranda came down in the last winds. Southside Stump Grinding came to remove the stump and they were amazing. Luke was really friendly, polite and professional. He arrived quickly, completed the job with no fuss, took extra care not to damage nearby tree roots and cleaned up afterwards. I would absolutely recommend Southside Stump Grinding. I think they service lots of other areas too 👍

Luke did an excellent job, grinding down some big stumps for us, using a new machine which fitted through our tight doorway to get to the worksite. We found him to be reliable, friendly, efficient and a fine worker. He was prompt with his communication and came when he said he would. Highly recommended.

Luke came to Bundanoon and attended to about 5 tree stumps that required stump removal. He was prompt, polite and courteous and did a wonderful job for a reasonable price. The offending stumps are now no more and we can start to plan our new garden. He left the site neater and better than it was before. I called Luke and he offered to help straight away, I sent him photos for him to assessing what I’d need done in Vincentia, and we worked it out from there.. he showed up on time literally the next business day, and had most of the job done before I got there.. he removed around 14 yucca and palm stumps and 3 large clumps of bamboo; the worst kind. He did a good tidy up of the work are as he had said he would be able to. I dealt with the greenwaste, because it was finally manageable!

Luke was recommended to me...and I could see why. Firstly quick to reply to my calls. Very polite, professional, efficient, on time, gave courtesy calls. He ensured that the area around was protected from the wood chips. He communicated with us several times to ensure that we were happy with the progress.
